The Monkey Lab (“we”, “us”) is a web app that helps you prepare artwork for DTF printing. It is run by Antezana’s LLC (doing business as DTF Monkey and CREATE), 535 Fort Collier Rd, Unit 2, Winchester VA 22603. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We try to keep it short and plain.
The short version. Your artwork stays in your browser; we do not upload it. We keep your email and plan so you can log in and use Pro. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your card number. We do not run ads, we do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and a password (stored by our login provider, Supabase, in hashed form; we cannot read it). If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your email address and basic profile from Google.
- Plan and billing status. Your plan (Free or Pro), your Stripe customer ID, your subscription status and the date your current period ends. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s page and are never stored by us.
- Messages you send us. If you use Send feedback or email us, we receive what you write and, if you give it, your email address. Feedback is delivered through Formspree.
- Your artwork. Images you open in the app are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers.
- Settings saved on your device. The app uses your browser’s local storage to keep you logged in and to remember things like your presets, favorites and whether you have seen the welcome message. You can clear this in your browser at any time.
- Technical data. Like any website, our host and service providers see your IP address, browser type and the pages or files requested, in server logs. We do not use this to build a profile of you.
How we use it
- To create your account, log you in, and unlock Pro features while your plan is active.
- To take payment, manage your subscription and send receipts (through Stripe).
- To reply to your messages and fix problems.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To send account emails such as confirmation and password reset. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of providers to run the service. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Supabase: accounts, login, your plan record, and storage of the Pro texture files.
- Stripe: checkout, subscriptions, invoices and the billing portal.
- Google: optional Google sign-in, and Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces. Loading fonts sends your IP address to Google.
- Formspree: delivers the feedback you submit.
- Hostinger: hosts the website.
- Cloudflare (cdnjs): serves a code library used to build ZIP downloads in your browser.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the service. If our business is ever sold or merged, account data may transfer to the new owner under this policy. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
Where your data is stored
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and login. We may keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Stripe keeps its own records under its policies. Feedback messages are kept as long as they are useful for improving the app.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing support@dtfmonkey.com from the address on the account. We will answer within 30 days.
- Cancel your subscription any time in the app under Account, then Manage subscription.
- Clear saved settings by clearing your browser’s site data.
- Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, the UK or the EU), you may have additional rights, such as objecting to or limiting certain processing, or complaining to a regulator. Email us and we will honor the rights that apply to you.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access rules so that you can only read your own account record. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
The Monkey Lab is meant for adults and businesses that print apparel. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app or by email.
